| PETITE BASSET GRIFFON VENDEEN "OSCAR" came to live with me at 9 weeks of age. He was raised with my borzoi. Before he turned a year old, he was returned to his breeder, Bonnie Lapham of Steppenwolf Borzoi & PBGVs. Oscar went on to win several Breeds from the classes & in 2004 was already in the top 20 of his breed after only 6 months of showing. Bonnie had to stop showing him due to prior commitments that took her away from being able to continue his career as a special. Oscar thinks he is a borzoi and guess he will never think otherwise. I really enjoyed having him and developing him into a wonderful show dog! Thanks Bonnie for entrusting me to raise him. Oscar will be out at select shows in 2006. |
