| 2007 In Review |
| 2007 was a very successful year with so many wonderful people that helped slip or show the dogs with me or for me. I am not going to list everyone, but, thank you all for your assistance. I have made really great friends this year. A co-breeder and/or co-owner of several of my dogs was virtually invisible & did not contribute to the 2007 accomplishments achieved by the Borzoi listed below that I am either the owner of or breeder of. Instead she was outside the ring at a couple of shows making nasty commentary about the dogs' wins. After repeated attempts to have her sign off on my dogs, she still clings to some of the dogs that are mine. I made out my will & the dog's futures have been determined. Everyone knows who they are & where the dogs are to go. All the dogs have been microchipped & one by one are being DNA'd for further identification purposes. So with that said, I am slowing down a bit this coming 2008 limiting my showing, coursing & racing activities with the dogs. I will be working with some new lines & breeders this year!. | Ch Greyhaven This Rough Magic began his show career January 2007. From the 6-9 and 9-12 month old puppy classes Aidan won all his singles, 3 Best of Breeds, and Puppy Hound Groups 1 &2. At 12 months 3 weeks and 6 days old from the 12-18 month class won 2 majors 6 days apart to become a champion in the ring. At 17 1/2 months old Aidan won Best in Sweeps at a BCOA TSE in Ocala, FL. | AKC pointed Russian Laika Spirit In the Sky won a Hound Group 2 in the Breeder's Showcase. The next 2 days Spirit was shown, he won WD/BOB & WD for his first 2 points from the Bred by Exhibitor class. Breeder/Owner: Lois Spiers & Sapp |
